About The Position

The Shop Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of tractor-trailers and all company vehicles. This role requires mechanical skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to perform preventive maintenance and air brake/ABS diagnostics. The position involves occasional overtime and requires the employee to be able to lift up to 70lbs (with team lift for over 70lbs).

Requirements

• One-year mechanical experience required
• Reliable transportation
• Basic hand tools
• Be able to lift to 70lbs (Over 70lbs team lift required)
• Basic Computer Skills requires (Diagnostic computer skills a plus)
• Able to work a 40-hour work week
• Able to work occasional overtime
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience working on air brake systems
• Ability to perform annual federal inspections on trucks and trailers
• Must provide own tools up to 1/2" drive.

Nice To Haves

• Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement preferred
• Petroleum tank repair experience and certifications highly preferred
