About The Position

Sonsray Agriculture is seeking a motivated and skilled Shop Technician for its Las Cruces, New Mexico team. The role performs diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on CASE agriculture equipment and related machinery in a shop environment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities, along with experience working on agricultural or heavy equipment systems. The position calls for a dependable technician who delivers quality workmanship while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience servicing and repairing agricultural or heavy equipment.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Strong computer skills for documentation, job tracking, and service reporting.
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage workload with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with OEM repair procedures and shop safety practices.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Reliability, punctuality, and a team-oriented approach.

Nice To Haves

Welding and structural repair experience.
Own tools.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on CASE agriculture equipment and related machinery.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, transmission, and engine-related issues.
Complete structural repairs and welding as needed.
Inspect equipment and identify issues accurately and efficiently.
Complete service documentation and repair reports using basic computer systems.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Safely operate hand, pneumatic, and electric tools and equipment.
Follow OEM repair procedures and dealership safety standards.
Collaborate with team members and management to support shop operations.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support dealership objectives.
