About The Position
A PIRTEK Shop Technician services walk-in customers at hose repair shops. The role requires an inquisitive nature, a mechanical background, and strong problem-solving skills. PIRTEK Service & Supply Centers are dynamic, fast-paced environments where the technician works and communicates closely with other team members. The Shop Technician plays a pivotal role in customer service and problem-solving, helping customers get their equipment back up and running.
Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong organizational and computer skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hydraulics.
- Spanish language skills.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair hoses efficiently and accurately.
- Anticipate and address customer needs.
- Maintain showroom and shop inventory, tools, and facilities.
- Streamline and support daily processes.
- Follow up with customers to generate additional business.
