About The Position

This role is responsible for driving WOS efforts in the North Eastern USA to promote and pursue new business opportunities for a newly incorporated product line. The technician will promote and develop a culture of superior service quality to support customer needs and relations, ensuring full compliance with ISO and API QHSE standards and work methods. The position requires working at the shop, making up and breaking down downhole tools, and ensuring all job procedures and reporting requirements are met in a timely manner. The technician will also be responsible for mounting, installing, aligning, and securing tools, monitoring machine operations, stopping machines to change tooling, and conducting inspections to evaluate quality and performance. Direct contact with the District Manager is expected to ensure jobs are completed with the highest degree of service quality, and feedback on tool performance should be provided to the Shop Manager. Other duties as assigned by management may also be required.

Requirements

  • Fully compliant with ISO and API QHSE standards and work methods
  • Ensure that service quality is maintained during operations
  • Required to work at the shop
  • Ensure work is performed in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations as well as company and industry standards
  • Make up and break down downhole tools at the shop
  • Ensure all job procedures are followed
  • Be in direct contact with District Manager to ensure jobs are completed with the highest degree of service quality
  • Provide feedback to Shop Manager on tool performance
  • Ensure all reporting requirements are done in a timely manner
  • Mount, install, align, and secure tools
  • Operation Monitoring: Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly
  • Stop machines to remove finished work pieces or to change tooling
  • Conduct inspections of products, or process to evaluate quality or performance

  • Ensure all job procedures are followed
  • Be in direct contact with District Manager to ensure jobs are completed with the highest degree of service quality
