About The Position

As the RCD/MPD Shop Technician Hybrid you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational efficiency of our facility and equipment assembly processes while assisting with Shipping and Receiving.

Requirements

1 to 2 years’ experience working in a shop environment.
Mechanically inclined and able to implement mechanical knowledge and skills.
Valid driver’s license with clean drivers abstract
First Aid Certification
Forklift Certification
Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adhere to process and documentation requirements.
Knowledge of Maintenance processes and procedures
Knowledge of Mechanical tools and equipment
Able to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines requiring minimal supervision.
Self-starter with ability to work cohesively as a part of a team.
Availability for overtime (evenings/weekends) on short notice as dictated by production demand.
Availability for periodic day/night shift rotation (12 hours) to accommodate product testing schedule.
Organized, dependable and action orientated.
Adherence to regulatory and company safety policies.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Personal transportation for travel to and from work.

Nice To Haves

Experience with RCD/MPD operations and/or manufacturing.
Experience with Shipping/Receiving and Inventory Management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Business 365.
Experience working in an API Certified facility.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Maintain the upkeep of the facility and yard.
Assist in the assembly, inspection, repair, and maintenance of all RCD/MPD related equipment.
Assist in the shipping and receiving of RCD/MPD equipment; including but not limited to arranging shipments, assembly/preparation of containers/crates for shipping, oversee loading and unloading of goods, verify and document accuracy of goods received according to company standards.
Deliver and/or pick up supplies from vendors.
Assist in monthly inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records through manual and computerized systems.
Inspect all equipment used and perform preventive maintenance checks and service.
Maintain company issued tools and develop knowledge and skill in their use.
Assist Shop Foreman with day-to-day tasks as required.
Implement quality checks and report any non-conforming items for further action.
Supports and/or participates in the organization’s continuous improvement program- Quality and ISO 9000 (QS as appropriate), API Q1 & API Q2, API 16 RCD.
