About The Position

As the RCD/MPD Shop Technician Hybrid you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational efficiency of our facility and equipment assembly processes while assisting with Shipping and Receiving.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience working in a shop environment.
  • Mechanically inclined and able to implement mechanical knowledge and skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean drivers abstract
  • First Aid Certification
  • Forklift Certification
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adhere to process and documentation requirements.
  • Knowledge of Maintenance processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of Mechanical tools and equipment
  • Able to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines requiring minimal supervision.
  • Self-starter with ability to work cohesively as a part of a team.
  • Availability for overtime (evenings/weekends) on short notice as dictated by production demand.
  • Availability for periodic day/night shift rotation (12 hours) to accommodate product testing schedule.
  • Organized, dependable and action orientated.
  • Adherence to regulatory and company safety policies.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Personal transportation for travel to and from work.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with RCD/MPD operations and/or manufacturing.
  • Experience with Shipping/Receiving and Inventory Management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Business 365.
  • Experience working in an API Certified facility.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Maintain the upkeep of the facility and yard.
  • Assist in the assembly, inspection, repair, and maintenance of all RCD/MPD related equipment.
  • Assist in the shipping and receiving of RCD/MPD equipment; including but not limited to arranging shipments, assembly/preparation of containers/crates for shipping, oversee loading and unloading of goods, verify and document accuracy of goods received according to company standards.
  • Deliver and/or pick up supplies from vendors.
  • Assist in monthly inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records through manual and computerized systems.
  • Inspect all equipment used and perform preventive maintenance checks and service.
  • Maintain company issued tools and develop knowledge and skill in their use.
  • Assist Shop Foreman with day-to-day tasks as required.
  • Implement quality checks and report any non-conforming items for further action.
  • Supports and/or participates in the organization’s continuous improvement program- Quality and ISO 9000 (QS as appropriate), API Q1 & API Q2, API 16 RCD.
