Linder Industrial Machinery Company is seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain construction equipment in both shop and field environments. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience working on construction, mining, agricultural, trucking, or heavy industrial equipment
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Diesel Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent apprenticeship or hands-on experience considered
  • CDL preferred but not required
  • Experience working on Komatsu or similar heavy equipment
  • Experience working on Diesel engines
  • Experience working on Hydraulic systems
  • Experience working on Electrical and electronic diagnostics
  • Experience working on Undercarriage, drivetrain, and powertrain systems

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment and related components
  • Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain repairs
  • Develop repair plans and determine necessary parts, materials, and tooling
  • Complete repairs safely and efficiently while ensuring quality standards are met
  • Prepare service reports, work orders, warranty documentation, and repair recommendations
  • Order and manage parts through company systems
  • Communicate repair status and findings with supervisors and customers
  • Maintain company vehicles, service trucks, tools, and equipment
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Perform shop and field service work as assigned
