Shop Support
About The Position
Shop Support is responsible for the moving of parts to various locations in the Machine Shop. Other duties may include emptying of dumpsters, garlocking, tap burning and supplying skids to machine centers or other miscellaneous duties related to the Machine Shop. Key customers for this role include the De-burr Department and the Machine Shop. Essential duties involve reviewing and ensuring all location information is correct on all applicable blueprints, identifying parts to match prints, operating a forklift, and maintaining work area cleanliness and organization. The role also requires emptying dumpsters into the correct bin and/or area.
Requirements
- Education generally equivalent to a High School diploma.
- Good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings.
- Ability to collaborate with others (including in person) to proactively develop solutions.

- Forklift license
