About The Position

Cox Fleet is one of the largest fleet maintenance companies in the country, operating with over 500 mobile trucks and 20+ shops. As a leader in the mobile fleet service industry, Cox Fleet provides preventative maintenance excellence with proprietary technology tailored to each customer's unique needs. The company has experienced substantial growth and expects more in the future. Cox Fleet is hiring a Shop Supervisor to join their Management Team at the Wisconsin Bus Sales location to support this growth.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a related field. (Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience; a master's degree and 1 year of experience; or a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience)
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
  • Must be at least 21 yrs. or older.
  • Skills in coaching, mentoring, teaching, discipline, having difficult conversations and ‘tough love’ as it pertains to mobile technicians.
  • Knowledge of the mobile work environment and challenges, maintenance practices, and processes requirements for mobile maintenance.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple group efforts to solve issues related to the technician job.
  • Ability to act with a high sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and use IT systems related to technician day to day activity and performance, such as various dispatching software, reporting tools, Workday, Salesforce, Kronos, Power BI, etc.
  • Must be able to clear a pre-employment drug test. (Note: Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana, but it is a drug-free workplace.)
  • Must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achievement of annual company Service department budget.
  • Responsible for achievement of weekly, monthly, and yearly Service KPI’s.
  • Daily management of Service operations to ensure company policies and standard procedures are followed.
  • Provide support to bus sales and parts department by maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and closely monitor Warranty issues.
  • Inspect and maintain a safe work environment and clean facility.
  • Manage Service department assigned vehicles.
  • Review Service work schedules to maintain steady volumes.
  • Promote personal and professional growth of all Service employees in all areas of their current responsibilities through training and work assignments.
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings with Service personnel.
  • Plan, conduct and participate in Monthly Safety Meetings.
  • Establish and maintain friendly, yet professional relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, customers, co-workers, and direct reports.
  • Research and identify revenue and profit opportunities in market area.
  • Develop quarterly sales plans per customer to direct and maintain profit.
  • Obtain sales through sales calls with potential service customers, preparation of estimates, price quotations and proposals.
  • Complete call reports, customer profiles, and marketing surveys as required.
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of product specifications, features, benefits, and advantages across all product lines.
  • Promote all company offerings to encourage customers to utilize Wisconsin Bus for all their company needs.
  • Develop and implement operations plan to maximize margins in the Service department.
  • Achieve yearly Service department budget goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
