Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a retail or service environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and basic financial principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Leadership and communication skills daily to effectively manage and motivate the team, ensuring clear understanding of tasks and expectations.
  • Organizational skills are essential for scheduling staff, managing inventory, and maintaining operational workflows efficiently.
  • Problem-solving abilities are frequently applied to address customer concerns and operational challenges promptly.
  • Proficiency with technology, such as POS systems and inventory software, supports accurate tracking and reporting of sales and stock levels.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and customer service principles ensures a secure and welcoming environment for both employees and customers.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
  • Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of shop staff to ensure smooth operations and high productivity.
  • Manage scheduling, attendance, and performance of employees, providing coaching and feedback as needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper stock management to avoid shortages or excess.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with management to implement policies, procedures, and promotional activities.
  • Prepare reports on shop performance, including sales, inventory, and staff productivity metrics.
