About The Position

Oversee daily shop operations, lead mechanics, ensure quality repairs, maintain safety standards, and deliver excellent customer service. Responsible for employee supervision, scheduling, performance management, KPI tracking, facility maintenance, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years mechanic experience
• Strong knowledge of trailer systems and repairs
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues
• Leadership and communication skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Pass background check, drug screen, and physical

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years mechanic experience (preferred for senior level)
• Trade school certification
• ASE certifications
• Experience supervising technicians

Responsibilities

• Lead and support shop technicians and staff
• Manage daily workflow, productivity, and repair quality
• Monitor KPIs, safety, and customer satisfaction
• Handle employee scheduling, timecards, PTO, evaluations, and discipline
• Maintain customer relationships and resolve service concerns
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
• Keep shop, equipment, and tools organized and operational
• Prepare reports and communicate with management
