About The Position

This part-time Shop Services role involves maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of manufacturing plants and outside areas, managing waste, operating cleaning and lift equipment, and assisting with snow removal.

Requirements

Must be able to work at heights.
Must be able to safely operate lift trucks.
HS diploma or equivalent.
Per 8 hr. shift, (stand 2 hrs., walk 6 hrs.), frequently (bend/stoop/twist, reach above shoulder level, push/pull), occasionally (squat/kneel/crawl, work with arms outstretched, work above chest level, balance). Infrequently (climb and torque). Frequent lifting and carrying (frequently from 0 to 50 lbs.).
Must be able to hear, see, have good binocular vision, distinguish colors, use foot to operate foot pedals and do simple grasping with both hands.
Must be able to work in noisy environments that include exposure to outside temperature changes, weld flash, haz-mat conditions, fumes, vibrations, dust, shavings, grease, solvents, and oil.
Be able to work at heights and safely operate various lift trucks including a Wave, and safely operate a scissor lift.
Must be able to safely work in areas of lift truck traffic.
Must be able to drive.
Required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned such as custodial, food services, general labor, etc.

Prior experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

Clean company manufacturing plants and outside areas.
Empty shop waste and recycling containers.
Use walk behind and automatic riding sweepers and scrubbers to clean shop aisles and floors.
Run trash compactor and cardboard compactor.
Help with Company snow removal.
Clean factory restrooms.
Able to work at heights and safely operate a Wave lift truck.
Able to safely operator an RC lift truck.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
