About The Position

Milton CAT Power & Energy is seeking experienced Shop Service Technicians to join their fast-growing, future-focused division. In this role, you will repair and maintain engines and generator systems that customers rely on for critical infrastructure, including hospitals and emerging technologies. You will work with industry-leading training and development programs, gain hands-on experience with advanced engines and power systems, and work on complex, high-value Caterpillar power systems and generators. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working on engines, generators, or power systems
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills (diagnostics & documentation)
• Your own tools
• A safety-first mindset and attention to detail

• CAT experience
• Technical degree

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot engines, generators, and power systems
• Repair, rebuild, and maintain industrial and power generation equipment
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble components
• Test, measure, and adjust system performance
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Complete detailed service reports and documentation
• Stay current with evolving tools, technologies, and systems
• Support occasional after-hours service needs when required
