About The Position

4Rivers Equipment is seeking highly skilled, self-motivated, and efficient Service Technicians to join their team. The mission is to keep customers' heavy equipment running smoothly through maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics. This role involves complex mechanical tasks, mentoring junior technicians, continuous learning, and upholding company standards for safety and professionalism.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Vocation or technical degree, or equivalent work experience or training
Strong communication skills
Self-motivated spirit

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on all types of heavy equipment.
Conduct engine rebuilds, axle reconditions, hydraulic valve and pump repairs, and transmission repairs.
Remove, disassemble, clean, repair, recondition, and assemble components or parts.
Maintain detailed records of equipment hours, serial numbers, complaints, causes, and corrections.
Mentor and guide other technicians and apprentice technicians.
Attend company-sponsored training to enhance skills, knowledge, and expertise.
Ensure service trucks and all company assets are maintained in excellent condition.
Prioritize and practice safety when operating power tools, lifts, welders, or cranes.
Embody the standards and values of 4Rivers Equipment.
Undertake any other assigned tasks with efficiency and professionalism.
