About The Position

The Shop Service Assembler's main responsibility is to assemble OPE products. This role involves building various displays and outdoor power equipment, including grills, zero-turn mowers, push mowers, yard furniture, Agrifab products, and chicken coops. The position is part-time, requiring 20-25 hours per week, and is primarily scheduled for days and weekends. A pay range of $15.00-$17.00 per hour is offered, depending on experience.

Requirements

Some personal or professional building experience preferred.
Preferably some experience working with this type of machinery.
Must be detail orientated.
Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to comprehend new processes, multi-task, and properly plan and prioritize tasks.
Positive and professional interactions with co-workers, self-motivation, and strong work ethic.
Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret specification manuals or assembly blueprints to assemble product accordingly.
Perform quality control checks that entail inspecting, operating, and testing completed products.
Align or position components needed for assembly, either by manual placement or by using hoists.
Must be able to perform in a productive and positive manner with minimal supervision.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Loading and unloading equipment, and machine assembly.
Must represent Runnings in a professional and positive manner.
May assist with routine small engine maintenance and repairs.
Perform on-site evaluations and equipment demos.
Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain proper certifications that may be required.
Operate equipment such as forklifts, delivery truck, etc.
Other duties as assigned by the Service Shop Manager.
