About The Position

CB&I delivers integrated storage and asset-management solutions to help customers operate safely, reliably, and efficiently throughout the lifecycle of their facilities. Its Storage Solutions business specializes in tanks, terminals, and storage systems, while Asset Solutions provides operations, management, wells, and decommissioning services.

The Shop Painter/Blaster role offers paid learning while developing skills as an industrial painter and warehouse operator. The employee works on steel components for water towers and oil tanks, operates and maintains blasting and painting equipment, and uses cranes, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment to move materials.

Requirements

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Be willing to be clean-shaved for respirator use.
• Be able to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently throughout the workday and up to 50 lbs. infrequently.
• Be able to stand for 100% of the workday.

Nice To Haves

• High school education or equivalent (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate blasting and painting equipment and perform preventative maintenance on that equipment.
• Blast and paint steel components of water towers and oil tanks.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment.
• Use overhead cranes and forklifts to move material.
• Communicate with coworkers and others in a courteous and professional manner.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
