About The Position

This position involves operating CNC, NC, lathes, and semi-automatic machinery. The operator will study blueprints and specifications to ensure finished work pieces meet dimensions and tolerances. This role requires the use of precision measuring instruments and adherence to safety protocols. The operator will work with minimal supervision and may be responsible for training new employees. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to read tape measure accurately.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to read and write.
• Able to learn to drive a forklift.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC, NC, lathes and semi automatic machinery.
• Study blueprints, layouts, sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operation, and setup requirements.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Verify completed work with the tolerance limits stated in the specifications.
• Work with minimum supervision.
• Provide on the job training to new employees as needed.
• Follow all safety and health policies and procedures issued by the company.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Running a anneal furnace.
