About The Position

Michels Corporation is seeking a Shop Mechanic II to perform advanced tasks in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and construction equipment. This role involves leading electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment. Success in this position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicate effectively, be detail-oriented, and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• 2-5+ years of experience working on pickup trucks (Ford preferred), heavy trucks, construction or utility related equipment, and trailers
• Aerial experience
• Experience with DOT Inspections
• Basic computer proficiency
• Able to provide own basic hand tools
• A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

• CDL Class A and valid Federal Medical Card
• Diesel Mechanic Program completion and/or Master ASE Credits
• Forklift experience – training will be provided
