About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Shop Manager to lead one of our locations. We are a well-established company with over 35 years of experience in providing efficient and friendly oil change services. Requirements

• Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Ability to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods.
• Ability to perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
• Willingness to work in hot/cold weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Willingness to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion.
• Basic computer operating skills.

• Experience in the oil change industry.
• Leadership experience in retail, restaurants, or other businesses.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new crew members.
• Creating crew schedules and submitting payroll.
• Controlling inventory, including conducting End of Period (EOP) and End of Year (EOY) inventory.
• Placing product orders and physically restocking inventory.
• Understanding shop financials to drive results and manage budget.
• Conducting quarterly employee evaluations.
• Supporting crew members with duties such as changing oil and performing other auto services.
• Performing oil changes, replacing oil filters, and other light auto maintenance services.
• Providing excellent customer service.
