About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Shop Manager to lead one of our locations. We are a well-established company with over 35 years of experience, known for our efficient oil change process that allows customers to remain in their vehicles. This role is ideal for individuals with strong leadership potential, whether they have prior experience in the automotive industry or transferable skills from other fields like retail, restaurants, or customer service. Requirements

• Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Ability to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot deep pit to safely position under cars.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc., for extended periods.
• Ability to perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
• Willingness to work in hot/cold weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Willingness to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion.
• Basic computer operating skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new crew members.
• Create crew schedules and submit payroll.
• Manage inventory, including conducting End of Period (EOP) and End of Year (EOY) inventory counts.
• Place product orders and restock inventory as needed.
• Analyze shop financials to drive results and manage the budget effectively.
• Conduct quarterly employee evaluations.
• Support crew members with various duties, including changing oil, replacing wiper blades and air filters, and filling tires.
• Perform auto services such as draining motor oil and changing oil filters.
• Provide excellent customer service.
