Take 5 Oil Change is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Shop Manager to lead one of our locations. We are a well-established company with over 35 years of experience, known for our efficient oil change process and friendly technicians. This role is ideal for individuals with strong leadership potential, whether they have prior experience in the automotive industry or other fields like retail, restaurants, or customer service. Requirements

Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
Ability to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position safely under cars
Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods
Ability to perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
Willingness to work in hot/cold weather conditions
Reliable transportation to and from the shop
Willingness to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion
Basic computer operating skills

Experience as a leader in oil change shops, restaurants, retail stores, or other businesses
Experience as a server, restaurant worker, mechanic, retail employee, landscaper, or other skilled trade worker

Responsibilities

Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new crew members
Creating crew schedules and submitting payroll
Controlling inventory, including conducting End of Period (EOP) and End of Year (EOY) inventory
Placing product orders and physically restocking inventory
Understanding shop financials to drive results and manage budget
Conducting quarterly employee evaluations
Supporting crew members with duties such as changing oil and performing other auto services
Performing oil changes, including draining motor oil and changing oil filters
Providing excellent customer service
