Requirements

  • 3+ yrs in the Design and Fabrication of Industrial Control Panels
  • Equivalent to B.S. in Engineering or comparable design experience
  • Able to design and draft small control systems using AutoAD Electrical including Schematics, Panel Layouts, Bill of Materials, Special Details, etc.
  • Able to specify all the components of the control panel.
  • Know how to program PLC's and HMI's.
  • Knowledge of VFD programming and testing is required.
  • Experienced in factory testing of controls and control panels.
  • Familiar with the UL508A standard for Control Panels
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • A knowledge of SAP would be a plus, but is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Sales staff to develop and drive sales to the Panel Shop.
  • Managing our in-house Control Panel Shop
  • Providing field support over the phone and occasionally out in field.
  • Instructing and working with our Panel Shop Technicians in the fabrication of our control panels.
  • Procuring all the components used in the Panel Shop
