Shop Manager - Auto Body
About The Position
The Shop Manager will be responsible for leading from an eyes-on-production mindset, partnering with an Office Manager to ensure excellent communication, and implementing and holding employees accountable to policies outlined in the B Street Employee Manual. This role involves identifying, creating, and maintaining a positive team culture, ensuring quality control checks are completed, and that employees meet safety and OSHA standards. The Shop Manager will also be responsible for assuring all necessary leases, licenses, and permits are current, interviewing, selecting, and training employees, utilizing various management and estimating systems, and understanding business financials to meet financial goals. Extensive training will be provided in each department to ensure a thorough understanding of all business facets before fully taking on Store Manager responsibilities.
Requirements
- Maintain a Monday – Friday 6:45am - 5:00pm schedule
- Must be able to lift, squat, kneel, bend and manage car parts in excess of 50 pounds
- Must have a valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the auto body / automotive / dealership industry, or relatable field preferred but not required. We will teach and train the right candidate.
