About The Position

TMC Trailers is bringing 28 years of manufacturing experience to the trailer industry, and they are looking for motivated individuals to join their team for the summer season. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new skills, and being part of a fast-paced shop environment.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on environment
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stay active throughout the day
• Comfortable working in a shop/manufacturing setting
• Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus (but not required)
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Positive attitude and good communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with construction, carpentry, or welding environments
• Familiarity with hand and power tools

Responsibilities

• Assist with wood deck installation on trailers
• Support welding team with prep work (material handling, grinding, fit-up, etc.)
• Perform general shop clean-up and organization
• Load, unload, and move materials as needed
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely
• Assist with trailer assembly and miscellaneous shop tasks
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
• Take direction from supervisors and support team needs across departments
