About The Position
We are hiring Shop Helpers for our Houston, TX client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately! This role involves assisting with general shop and plant operations, including loading, unloading, and organizing materials. The Shop Helper will operate a forklift to move materials, maintain a clean work environment, and support other employees with daily production and material-handling tasks. Adherence to all plant safety procedures and instructions is crucial.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a plant, industrial, manufacturing, or similar setting
- Previous forklift experience required
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to perform physical/material-handling duties
- Must be safety-conscious and able to follow instructions
Responsibilities
- Assist with general shop and plant operations
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials
