About The Position
The Helper provides general support to production operations by assisting multiple departments, including Fabrication, Assembly, and Paint/Blast. This position performs a variety of basic labor tasks to support workflow, maintain organization, and ensure the shop operates efficiently during peak production periods. This is a temporary position intended to provide additional support during the summer months.

Responsibilities
- Assist employees across departments with general labor tasks as directed
- Move materials, parts, and equipment throughout the facility
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment
- Assist with basic production tasks such as prepping, and staging materials under supervision
- Support loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing materials
- Help prepare jobs for production by staging parts and materials
- Perform routine shop cleanup, including sweeping, trash removal, and organizing workspaces
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in all designated areas
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned to support production needs
- Perform nonproduction painting tasks throughout the facility using brush or roller, including marking warning lines, designating safety zones, and indicating locations of fire extinguishers and other safety equipment
