Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm Job Purpose: The Shop Helper plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Service Department by engaging in a variety of tasks that support and enhance shop functionality and service delivery.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred
General mechanical knowledge or aptitude required
Valid driver's license required
CDL required, or ability to obtain
Ability to lift 75 pounds
Ability to drive a forklift
Basic hand tools, electrical equipment, computer/phone, safety glasses, gloves, safety shoes

Responsibilities

Maintaining a consistently clean environment in the shop.
Facilitating the swift and efficient delivery of parts to shop technicians.
Interacting with customers in a manner that is diplomatic and courteous.
Assisting in tasks that increase technician proficiency and efficiency.
Actively participating in learning opportunities.
Learning through hands-on experience by helping other technicians.
Pulling trucks into and out of the shop as directed.
Displaying a desire to learn the business and grow within the company.
Using resources wisely, including managing time efficiently and utilizing tools and equipment responsibly.
Responsible use of resources, proper management of waste materials from repairs, and maintenance of a clean and safe working environment.
Adapt to the evolving needs of the organization and undertake additional responsibilities as required.
