About The Position
We are seeking candidates for the following positions: Shop Helper, Operator, Press Person, Etch Operator, and Saw Helper at our new plant located in Verdi, Nevada. Manufacturing and forklift experience preferred.
Requirements
- All Applicants must comply with ITAR Requirements. US Citizens or Permanent Residents only
- Manufacturing and forklift experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Follow direction of the acting supervisor, lead man, and/or supervisor
- Maintain clean and safe working environment; embrace a clean as you go policy.
- Load and unload dies from die heating furnaces in accordance with WM best practices.
- Assist in the wheel tool set ups.
- Learn the basic skills of a helper position which include but are not limited to: Operate a forklift, manipulator, overhead crane under supervision.
- Operate tools such as hand grinders, wheel grinders, impact wrenches, sledgehammers, etc.
- Properly clean and protect dies to prevent corroded dies.
- Fix air and gas hoses.
- Basic understanding of specialized equipment such as presses, furnaces, etc.
- Basic understanding of die/insert holder and press setups.
- Understanding of shopfloor instructions.
- Understanding best practices of material handling.
- Other duties assigned.
