Requirements
- Eager to learn and develop mechanical skills
- Dependable, punctual, and hardworking
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Committed to maintaining a safe work environment
- Possesses basic mechanical aptitude or experience
- Holds a valid driver's license
Responsibilities
- Supporting technicians with fire apparatus inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Delivering and picking up equipment
- Running parts and materials between locations
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
- Assisting with vehicle preparation and shop projects
- Learning the fundamentals of fire apparatus service and repair from experienced mechanics
- Help maintain cleanliness of the shop
