Requirements

AWS D1.1 Structural Steel Certification with FCAW and SMAW
Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Keeps the shop space and equipment clean, well-maintained, and organized.
Adheres to safety protocols for the proper storage and disposal of materials.
Actively participates in the manufacturing and fabrication of finished metal products.
Utilizes welding and fabrication techniques to meet project requirements.
Installs and repairs various equipment and components using welding and fabrication skills.
Collaborates with the team to ensure accurate and efficient installations.
Reads and interprets blueprints to understand project specifications.
Follows provided blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and welding.
Calculates material measurements to verify compliance with product specifications.
Ensures precision in cutting, welding, and assembling metal components.
Conducts tests to evaluate the quality and tolerance of welds.
Performs quality checks to ensure products meet established standards.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Adheres to cleanliness standards for tools, equipment, and workspaces.
Capable of completing work under minimal or no supervision.
Demonstrates a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
Adheres to safety regulations and wears appropriate PPE at all times.
Ensures that all team members comply with PPE requirements.
