About The Position

This role involves assisting with various shop operations, including loading/unloading, cleaning, equipment maintenance, and parts delivery. The position requires adherence to safety policies, hazard management, and a willingness to support colleagues. The job is performed primarily in a shop environment with exposure to typical industrial hazards and outdoor conditions. Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and on-call rotations, is necessary. Candidates must be 21 or older and pass pre-employment screening.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience
Basic Knowledge hand tools
Basic Knowledge Power tools
Basic Mechanical Skills
Valid driver’s license
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, twist, squat, crawl and walk; may have long periods of standing or sitting.
Exposure to working outdoors and extreme weather conditions.
Must have flexibility to work any schedule based on business needs, including weekends, and be on a “on –call” rotation.
Must pass pre-employment screening, testing and job-relevant hiring requirements.
You MUST BE 21 or OLDER
Must have a clean driving record

Responsibilities

Assist with loading and unloading of supplies & equipment
Assist in cleaning shop area and yard
Installs and maintains equipment – painting, repairing, cleaning, testing
May deliver and pick-up parts which could include pulling a trailer
May be required to operate forklifts, pressure washers, test pumps, and other shop equipment
Performs other duties as assigned
Know, understand, and observe ALL company safety policies, and best practices.
Ability to recognize and manage hazards.
Ability to demonstrate safe work habits.
Willing to offer support and assistance to other employees in the shop.
