About The Position

The Shop Hand is responsible for completion of daily duties related to the general shop and facility upkeep and maintenance; performing standard facility maintenance; and assisting in the loading and unloading of company vehicles and equipment.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Valid forklift certification.
• Ability to uphold company safety standards.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in extreme weather and physical conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in light industrial environment preferred.
• General mechanical knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move products and materials, ensuring placement in correct areas.
• Complete inventory daily to ensure products and supplies are well stocked.
• Ensure cleanliness of equipment and the shop environment.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain proper documentation of tools and materials.
