Shop Foreman - Audi Owings Mills
About The Position
Audi Owings Mills is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman who thrives on solving complex technical challenges, mentoring technicians, and delivering an exceptional service experience. This leadership role values expertise, encourages input, and supports career growth. The Shop Foreman will lead, coach, and mentor a team of Audi technicians, diagnose and assist with advanced technical issues, ensure repairs meet Audi factory standards, partner with advisors on technical findings, and help improve shop productivity while fostering a positive team culture and supporting technician development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of dealership technician experience (Audi, Volkswagen, or other European luxury brands preferred)
- Previous experience as a Shop Foreman, Team Lead, or Lead Technician
- Strong electrical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills
- Experience mentoring and developing technicians
- Working knowledge of dealership management systems
Nice To Haves
- Audi certifications are a plus (or willingness to obtain)
Responsibilities
- Leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of Audi technicians
- Diagnosing and assisting with advanced drivability, electrical, and network concerns
- Ensuring repairs meet Audi factory standards for quality and efficiency
- Partnering with advisors to explain technical findings and repair recommendations
- Helping improve shop productivity while maintaining a positive team culture
- Supporting technician development through training and real-time coaching
