Shop Foreman
About The Position
Transteck, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Shop Foreman at our Freightliner of Philadelphia dealership located in Levittown, PA. If you possess the skills and experience we are looking for please apply below and you will be contacted by one of our hiring managers. The ideal candidate will have experience in working in an Automobile or Truck Service Center in a supervisory role. Have some experience as a mechanic. Have excellent communication and supervisory skills. Familiarity with computers. We use CDK (ADP) business systems and experience with that system will be a plus. Our facilities are kept clean and the pace is fast - all part of providing the best service to our customers.
Requirements
- Experience in working in an Automobile or Truck Service Center in a supervisory role.
- Some experience as a mechanic.
- Excellent communication and supervisory skills.
- Familiarity with computers.
- Must pass background & criminal records check, physical exam and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with CDK (ADP) business systems.
Responsibilities
- Supervising, motivating and assisting technical staff.
- Billing out work performed on Repair Orders.
- Dispatching work to technicians.
- Monitoring of shop productivity.
- Follow-up with work progress.
- Coordinate parts orders with parts department.
