About The Position

Nextran Truck Centers is hiring a Shop Foreman with an Administrative Focus in Atlanta (College Park), GA. This role is for individuals looking to develop their profession into a career and are driven by opportunity. As a Shop Foreman with an Administrative Focus, you are a valued member of our team, performing constant and accurate communications with Service Writers and the Lead Uptime Technician. You will assist the Lead Uptime Technician whenever necessary to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction, minimize customer wait time on new truck arrivals, and make estimates for both Uptime & Main shop. This role also involves helping with warranty determination, managing work flow cases to parts and advisors, inputting status notes in ASIST, and providing backup to the Repair Focused Foreman as needed. Key responsibilities include final repair order review, ensuring repair times are flat rated, operations are toggled correctly, warranty vs. customer pay is accurate, warranty documentation is complete (eService Case#, CBR #, Fault codes attached), warranty parts & cores are turned in, sublet invoices are attached to the ASIST case, and the final invoice matches the estimate. You will also workflow cases to advisors, provide backup to advisors when needed, and offer technical support to technicians and management, while following the Customer Contact and Communication Policy.

Requirements

  • Minimum seven years heavy duty truck mechanical experience.
  • Three to five years of supervisory experience.
  • Verbal and written communication skills necessary for communicating with customers, management, employees and vendors.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to understand financial information as it pertains to dealership operations.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Valid CDL license.

Responsibilities
