About The Position

Performs entry-level fabrication and warehouse duties under general supervision. Assemble industrial hoses, gaskets, and related products while learning shop procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards. Works closely with shop leadership and team members to complete assigned tasks accurately and safely.

• Ability to perform essential job functions successfully using reasoning, communication, calculation, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to speak, follow verbal and written directions in English, complete work timely, effectively and efficiently, and demonstrate attention to detail.
• Basic proficiency with hand tools and measuring devices.
• Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently under supervision.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety procedures.
• Must have a valid, active Driver’s License with an insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Complete training in forklift operation, workplace harassment prevention and Hose Safety Institute (HSI) training.
• Assist in conducting warehouse inventory under the direction of the warehouse foreman.
• Operate forklifts or other motorized equipment safely to move materials or deliver products as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA regulations.
• Assemble industrial hoses, gaskets, and hydraulic hoses following specified directives and standards. Utilize hand tools, measuring devices, and cutting tools effectively; operate shop equipment such as die presses, and automated coupling machines with guidance as needed. Timely and accurately with minimal rework.
• Check in UPS and LTL shipments, package customer orders with minimal assistance.
• Other duties and on-call responsibilities assigned.
