Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mobile Crane Mechanic/Technician that can operate and inspect cranes in order to diagnose defects.
Demonstrates working knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, EKS, ECOS, LICCON, and Greer systems.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required for field technician positions.

Nice To Haves

Mechanic experience preferred with electrical and hydraulics.
Ability to work overtime as well as on weekends is a plus.
Travel is required periodically for 1 to 4-day intervals for field techs.
History of working with different forms of mobile crane equipment, specifically Grove RT and TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes; Manitowoc, Liebherr, Terex, Palfinger, IMT, Cormach, National, Demag, Manitex, etc.

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain various crane equipment including mobile cranes (All Terrain, Rough Terrain, Crawler Cranes, Boom Trucks, knuckle booms, bucket trucks, etc.).
Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
Read and understand operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Test mechanical, electronic, electrical, and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper operation and compliance with OEM specifications.
Prepare for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
Accomplish tasks independently without direct supervision.
Maintain conformity to safety requirements, manufacturer procedures, and other regulations.
Properly fill out working reports, hour’s reports, time sheets, hour’s overviews, work orders, and expense reports.
