Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on furniture.
Assemble new equipment or parts according to specifications.
Install components and ensure proper functionality before deployment.
Conduct detailed inspections to identify wear, damage, or safety concerns.
Test repaired or serviced furniture to verify performance and compliance with standards.
Track and manage parts inventory for repairs and maintenance.
Order replacement parts and maintain accurate records of usage.
Communicate findings and recommendations to supervisors or management.
Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while working in the shop.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe environment.
Assist internal teams or customers with technical questions and equipment issues.
Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs efficiently.
Stay updated on new technologies, tools, and repair techniques.
Suggest process improvements to enhance shop efficiency and service quality.
Clearly separate foam, cardboard, and plastic to create recyclable materials.
Maintain and manage associates and their weekly schedules, ensuring adequate staffing coverage.
