About The Position

Boscov’s is hiring a part-time seasonal Shoe Sales Associate to join its Shoe Sales Team. The role focuses on helping customers find and purchase shoes, providing attentive service, and working toward sales goals in a fast-paced, commission-based environment. Associates also handle merchandising, department upkeep, stockroom tasks, and internet orders. The position requires physical movement and availability for varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• Enjoy working with people and be approachable, courteous, and patient.
• Engage customers and provide excellent service by actively listening, asking questions, and demonstrating the Boscov’s customer experience.
• Ability to achieve sales goals.
• Ability to multitask and help more than one customer at a time when needed.
• Entrepreneurial drive to succeed in a commission-based environment.
• Ability to perform physical movement, including walking, standing, bending, reaching, and climbing ladders and/or stairs.
• Availability to work varied days and hours as scheduled, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals.
• Meet and exceed customer expectations by retrieving requested shoes from the stockroom and recommending additional items based on customer needs.
• Educate customers about products.
• Work as a team player to ensure every customer’s needs are met.
• Perform daily department maintenance, including merchandising, display, and ticketing.
• Assist with stockroom maintenance when not assisting customers.
• Help fulfill customer internet orders.
