About The Position

Labor One Staffing is hiring General Laborers for a long-term shipyard project in Charleston, South Carolina. Applicants must interview and complete an application in person. Employees must have reliable transportation as the company does not provide it.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be willing to work aboard and around ships
• Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights
• Must be willing to work first or second shift
• Must have a strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
• Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
• Performing general cleaning duties
• Assisting with fire-watch duties onshore, aboard ships, and on other vessels
• Using mechanical or hand tools as needed
• Working in confined spaces and at heights
• Completing other general labor duties as assigned
