About The Position

Supervises, assigns, coordinates, and evaluates semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel based on their skill, experience, and job knowledge. This role involves supervising and training employees to enhance the quality and quantity of work performed, recommending training to improve employee skills and productivity, and assisting in the development of training procedures. The Foreman is responsible for breaking down broad strategies into practical action plans and ensuring employees are trained to execute these plans. Key responsibilities include complying with all technical aspects of the job, adhering to drawings and procedures, and overseeing manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations that significantly impact the company's financial performance. The role also involves monitoring job and budget performance across all shifts.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree OR Apprentice Certification OR High School and 4 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience OR Associate Degree in a Trade/Technical and 3 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience

Responsible for manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations that have a significant financial impact on the company's performance.
Supervises qualified trades staff; monitoring job and budget performance for all shifts.
