About The Position
Volt is hiring a Shipping worker in Avon, Indiana. The role involves organizing warehouse products, fulfilling customer orders, processing packages and shipping information, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting daily shipping preparations. This is a full-time contract opportunity scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The pay range is $20–$21.65 per hour; the offered rate depends on factors including education, work experience, location, job duties, and certifications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, or distribution experience is preferred.
- Experience using ERP systems, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Accurately store and organize products within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to established procedures.
- Label, weigh, and process packages using freight and shipping systems.
- Process orders and update records using the ERP system.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse organization.
- Assist with daily shipping preparations and next-day order planning.
- Follow company safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
