About The Position

The shipping worker is responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of inbound and outbound materials, ensuring products are safely unloaded, staged, scanned, loaded, and shipped according to company standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining the warehouse flow and requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must uphold and represent ProVia®’s Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Values.

Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Must have manual dexterity for scanning and inventory tasks.
• Must be able to handle physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Use of lifting aids or team lifting where necessary for heavier loads.

Responsibilities

• Sort products in the staging area based on inventory and shipping needs.
• Accurately scan items into the inventory management system.
• Ensure product identification and quantity match shipment records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Follow proper disposal and recycling procedures.
• Assist with routine warehouse upkeep and equipment checks.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet shipping deadlines.
• Adapt to changing work conditions and production schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
