About The Position

This role is responsible for watering all areas in the shipping department as needed to control dust. The position requires adherence to safety requirements and work procedures to ensure high-quality products for customers. The employee will learn the safe operation of the water truck and may be asked to assist in other areas under supervisor direction during rainy weather when the water truck is not needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong safety awareness
• Good communication skills (verbal, written, & electronic)
• Self-motivated with the ability to work consistently without direct supervision
• Works well with others
• Quality & detail oriented
• Mechanically inclined
• Willing to work scheduled & unscheduled overtime
• Ability to work in an extreme environment and to perform repetitive stretching, reaching, lifting and walking to support routine responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Water all areas in shipping as needed to control dust
• Follow safety requirements
• Follow work procedures to ensure high quality products for our customers
• Learn safe operations of the water truck
• Assist in other areas with the direction of your supervisor during rainy weather when the water truck is not needed
