About The Position

McKee Foods is seeking a Shipping Utility to join our Shipping Department team. Work and interact as part of a 2-person team to meet team performance goals. Use computers in a windows and non-windows environment. Pick cases and load onto conveyor to fill distributor’s orders. Maintain a high level of accuracy in filling orders. Stack cases in trailer as needed. Maintain a high level of quality when stacking. Maintain accurate information in WMS. Communicate effectively with others. Cross-training in other areas. Clean and perform all other shipping/receiving duties as needed.

Requirements

• Overall good work record (which includes attendance, safety, job performance, flexibility, and team behaviors)
• Demonstrated ability to work in a cohesive team environment
• Ability to work with computers (data entry)
• Basic math skills
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting
• Demonstrated ability to promote continuous process improvement and LEAN principles
• Capable of reaching work goals with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with WMS
• Previous shipping and lift truck experience
