Responsibilities also include verifying transfer sheet counts, understanding product codes, loading trucks, organizing the shipping dock, using SAP for billing and order management, completing inventory, and working overtime as needed. A strong attendance record is essential.

Requirements

  • Must be computer proficient.
  • All candidates will have to complete a basic computer skill test.
  • Must be walker and forklift certified or become certified

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all safety checks are made on all equipment prior to use
  • Ensure all walkways and exit doors are always kept clear
  • Communicate any Safety Issues to Supervisor and/or Maintenance
  • Ensure all fellow employees follow safety policies on a daily basis
  • Ensure that you and fellow employees follow proper LOTO procedures
  • Verify transfer sheet counts on each pallet along with matching UPC’s and batch codes
  • Understand and know all product codes (UPC’s) as well as examining packages for conformance to company specifications
  • Ability to accurately load shuttles, STO trucks and stage future outgoing trucks following all proper paperwork
  • Keep dock organized, including racks and loading areas
  • Must be able to use SAP and use it to bill out trucks, shuttles, and look at future orders
  • Complete an accurate inventory on daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Ability to work overtime as required (usually on a daily basis) and be prepared to possibly work weekends
  • Have an excellent attendance record
  • Adhere to all above and also be willing to complete any other daily tasks deemed necessary by his or her supervisor
