About The Position

The Shipping Technician coordinates the preparation, handling, and shipment of patient-specific medical equipment while supporting daily warehouse operations. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, equipment handling, and compliance with company standards. The Shipping Technician works closely with internal teams to ensure equipment is properly prepared, documented, shipped, and returned in support of patient care.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Industry-related warehouse experience preferred; equivalent education and experience considered
Computer proficiency and ability to learn company systems and software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed

Responsibilities

Prepare, package, and ship patient-specific equipment accurately and efficiently
Verify orders, inventory assignments, and shipment details to ensure accuracy
Ensure all required documentation is completed and included with shipments
Monitor orders and work orders to support timely delivery expectations
Complete order entry processes accurately within company systems
Maintain warehouse organization and ensure inspection readiness
Select appropriate shipping methods to support cost-effective delivery
Coordinate equipment returns by verifying product counts, condition, and accuracy
Maintain a clean and organized equipment return area in compliance with company standards
Support inventory accuracy through proper handling and documentation
Assist with warehouse projects and operational needs as assigned
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and follow company policies and procedures
