Requirements
- Should be familiar with operating procedures for heavy-lift forklifts including safety checks, forklift operator maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Must possess basic computer skills
- be proficient with mathematical skills to insure inventory accuracy
- capable of adhering to good customer relations practices
Responsibilities
- identify product size
- be proficient in operating automatic tools and machines to include lift booms and automatic strappers
- understand rotation of stock
- efficiently use the bar code system
- load trucks and railcars according to driver safety requirements
- complete appropriate paperwork to include loading diagrams
