About The Position
This position will report to the Regional Pipe Yard. The Shipping Supervisor coordinates day-to-day general receipt, preparation and shipping tasks, ensuring quality and efficiency of work. This role also coordinates and checks the fulfillment documentation processes, ensuring correct documentation. Provides subject matter guidance and training to team members on new or updated fulfilment processes and standards. Liaises with all departments to ensure smooth shipping and delivery of goods, acting as a key point of contact for the team. Analyzes information to identify areas of improvement within own area of fulfillment responsibility and implements measures to improve the efficiency of the team. Adheres to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements. Regular and reliable attendance is expected. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to meet customer service expectations.
- Must be able to work independently and with a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to operate a forklift.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Experience with shipping and receiving software.
- Experience with inventory management.
