Become part of our great team as a Shipping Supervisor.The shipping supervisor oversees the shipping department and all shipping employees.

Requirements

  • Minimum experience: five years of previous experience in a shipping department.
  • SAP experience strongly prefered.
  • Enforce company safety policies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates and accuracy.
  • Must have severed in a supervisor role.
  • Minimum education: 12th grade or equivalent. Must read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift.
  • Stands on concrete floor up to 10 hours.
  • Lifts boxes of finished parts weighing up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Ships orders on time.
  • Maintains an accurate finished goods inventory
  • Follows safety rules.
  • The counting, packaging, and labeling of parts for inventory.
  • The counting, packaging, and labeling of parts for shipping.
  • Entering shipping data into the manifest system.
  • Painting of non permanent color code on finished parts.
  • Engraving parts by hand.
  • Engraving parts using a marking machine.
  • Packaging parts individually by hand.
  • Packaging parts individually using the O-Bagger machine.
  • Assembling O-ring kits.
