About The Position

Agropur is looking for a night shift warehouse supervisor to join its team in St-Laurent. The Warehouse Supervisor plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to receiving, storing, packaging products, and assembling orders. The work schedule is from 10:30 PM to 7 AM, Monday to Saturday. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or DEC in operations management, logistics, administration, or a related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in warehouse supervision in the food or pharmaceutical field required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (English required to work with colleagues in other Canadian provinces) required.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of SAP or other similar ERP system.
Availability and flexibility to manage all shifts.

Responsibilities

Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met and that employees continuously work safely.
Actively participating in maintaining regulatory, quality, sanitation, and food safety standards.
Managing daily activities to execute the weekly plan based on incoming orders and ensuring both quantitative and qualitative targets are achieved.
Ensuring employee performance and providing the necessary support for them to reach their objectives.
Managing distribution center activities, including hiring, training, maintenance plan follow-up, participation in various committees, etc..
Enforcing the collective agreement.
Leading team meetings at the start of each shift.
Identifying risks and improvement opportunities, analyzing them, and supporting the implementation of corrective actions.
Conducting investigations following incidents/accidents and proposing action plans.
Maintaining a strong work climate by promoting participative management, communication, and continuous improvement.
Supporting the management of all buildings, grounds, and equipment at the distribution center.
